It's January, which means new year's resolutions, healthy eating and hitting up the gym. This is great and all but sometimes I feel like it also comes with a hefty feeling of guilt about indulging in the things we all really love - the wine, sweets and food that make us smile and want to dance! Now, I don't know if you're like me, but I struggle to make it much longer than one month anyway, and the whole time I feel this overwhelming pressure to be more than what I am. I say, let's kick this way of living to the curb! Instead of making month-long changes let's make some wardrobe changes. Let's embrace who we are and stop killing ourselves to fit a mold that doesn't belong to us! That means for me - no stretch no thank you.

Clothes are meant to move with you, and recover if you shed some lbs or add a few. I want jeans that will fit now and STILL fit 10 lbs from now (whether that is up or down, the jeans won't judge you - and neither will we.)

I grew up in a time when jeans didn't have stretch at all - not even a little bit! And that dance we all did to get the tight ones on - you know the one. Girl, don't pretend like you didn't lay on your back on the edge of the bed to zip up your jeans...you did. We all did. To this day, I have a negative association with trying on jeans, so I thanked the denim gods the day I tried on stretchy jeans and I know I'll never look back!

One of the brands I am obsessed with right now are the Articles of Society denim, every time I put them on I feel like I am wearing leggings - but they are indeed jeans and not jeggings. How can this be, how can I bend and stretch so comfortably without ripping at the seam?! Come try on some of these magic jeans for yourself!

Some of my favorite looks right now are the step cut raw ankle and some all over distressing. The step cut is perfect for showing off a little ankle above your booties or heels and the distressed look is fun, casual and a little edgy! We've got these affordable jeans in stock now so I hope you come in to the shop to try a pair on! I know you're going to love them as much as I do!

And, just so I mention it - I'm not trying to discourage you from your resolution - just making sure you know you are perfect the way you are and I have jeans in the shop that will agree with me - you just need to come in and meet them!
